Chief's Daughter

Chief's Daughter

Wearing the traditional BuYi dress, her father is the chief of this BuYi village in the background. The river beside her is the one she and other BuYi women often used to wash the batik wax dye cloths during the processing of making. She was so natural, for a moment I thought I was facing a professional model, but it wasn't. It was only "A moment of truth in nature and culture" captured - my mission statement in photography.
